Today we went over some examples of summary & characterization, talked about what the assessment was going to look like this week, and talked about what it takes to score a "3" (meet the standard). We will start the assessment tomorrow by reading a new story. No Homework!!
Social Studies -
Today we watched CNN 10 for our dose of current events. Then, we reviewed why we should study geography and went over two vocab words: geographer and global citizen. No Homework!!
**Just a reminder: Conferences are Tuesday & Thursday this week. You will meet with your child's homeroom teacher, and they will share information from all of the core classes with you. If you still need a time, please call the office to sign up!**
