ENGLISH -
Today we read another chapter in our read aloud. Then, we revisited the definition of the word EMPATHY. Finally, we started an activity with a small group where we are "mapping" what it would be like to be a person in a certain scenario. For example, if you were a new student to HMS, what would you be hearing, seeing, doing, feeling, and saying while at school. No Homework!!
SOCIAL STUDIES -
Students continued a reading of Section 1 in Chapter 1 and also started a reading of either Chapter 2 OR Chapter 4. We are working to define Geography and gather a base knowledge about what geography is. No Homework!
REMINDER - ART PRIZE slips and $3 are due WEDNESDAY (tomorrow)!!
Also, Wednesday is WACKY WEDNESDAY for Spirit Week. Wear mismatched clothes & have fun with your hair! :)
