Mrs. Schuiteman

What a productive and fun half day!!
Students did a great job participating in a Fuel Up to Play 60 event - a Hawk Walk & some games!  Then, they took a math quiz and worked on their stories!!  Keep writing!  I am getting excited to "publish" and read these stories!   HW - Write more if you need to!

Today's schedule was a little different because of the half day!  Students took their math quiz over volume, had swimming, and worked on their English stories.  They could work on their stories on their own at home if they have time.

I am seeing an increase in students not completing their assignments or using class time well.  We have a very long way to go to get to June 8, and A LOT of math to still cover.  Please remind your child that summer break is a long time from today and they still have a job to complete.

Math:  We checked our word problem packet and students got a review for their two quizzes coming this week ~ surface area and volume.  They should complete the portions of the review they feel they need the most practice on.

SS:  No SS this week due to swimming.

Social Studies -
Toady we read another chapter in our book.  Then, we discussed our positive and negative thoughts on urbanization, which led to discussing global problems.  No Homework!
