SS:  Today we are beginning our exploration deeper into urbanization and preparing for a poster creation project.  More info to come.  No HW

Math:  Today we continued to review inequalities for quizzes Wednesday and Thursday.  Finish review tonight if not done in class.

Today we worked on the 5 different types of dialogue -- we took notes, created samples, and completed an activity with a group.  No Homework!

Social Studies -
Today we watched CNN 10, read another chapter in our read aloud book, and completed some vocabulary terms with samples to start on our next topic - urbanization.  No Homework!


** Schuiteman homeroom begins swimming next week Monday!!  Even though the weather outside is frightful, students will need to be looking for a swim suit and towel to be ready for next Monday! **

Math:  We are reviewing inequalities for quizzes on Wednesday and Thursday.  Finish the practice titled, "Quiz 7.5 - 7.7" for tomorrow.

Today we took a little time for mindful minutes.  Then, we read the picture book Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon and applied our story element knowledge to the book.  Finally, we started making observations about our next piece of learning for story writing - dialogue.  No Homework!

Social Studies -
Today we did a mining activity with cookies!!  Ask your student about it!  No Homework!

Today we went to library for checkout.  Then, we finished our story elements notes by going over how to develop settings & types of conflict in stories.  No Homework!

Social Studies -
Today we read another chapter in our read aloud & discussed.  Then, we went over our Natural Resources article and connect some of it to our knowledge of Michigan and to population in general.  No Homework!!

Math:  Today we practiced working with inequalities in word problem form.  We will continue working on these tomorrow.  No HW
