SS:  Today we looked and the Map of Michigan and examined the features present on a real map.  We practiced some of our map skills with these, including learning to fold them (haha).  No HW

Math:  Today we quizzed over verbal models, substitution, and parts of an expression.  No HW

Today we went to library for checkout time.  Then, we went over Article #1 & #2 in our documents.  No Homework!!

Social Studies -
Today we watched CNN 10, then we discussed a Map Key or Legend.  We practiced some of our direction and map key skills in groups using a Michigan map.  No Homework!

Science: Today in Science the students did their final ecosystem data collection. They finished their slideshows with their pictures, shared them with me, and completed a graph of the data collected during our field study. No homework!

Social Studies: The students watched CNN10 and practiced latitude and longitude.

SS:  Today we finished our map review.  Started talking about map scale.  No HW

Math:  Today we reviewed for our quiz tomorrow.  Review packet due tomorrow.

Lillmars

Science: Today, the students learned the rules/procedures to the game "Oh, Deer!". We will be playing this game soon. It requires going outdoors, so, as the weather gets cooler, please be prepared. No homework!

Social Studies: We watched CNN10 and completed some latitude/longitude vocabulary. No homework!

SS:  We worked on getting caught up on a few of our unfinished assignments AND we started working on a general map skills review of things we've already covered.  NoHW



Math:  Today we worked to review for a quiz Friday!  Finish the review for Thursday's class!

Today we define a few terms that helped us clarify our question we will examine for our practice argument write:  Should school bullies be treated as criminals?
We then did a "gut write" to put down our initial response before reading our documents.  Finally, we started reading document #1.  No Homework!

Social Studies -
Today we discussed the compass rose a bit & practiced giving directions to one another.  Then, we talked about and did a work sheet about map scale.  No Homework!
